Our Principles
Our guiding principles are straightforward: uplift our community, lead by example, and serve locally. We support collaboration, action, and fostering connections across generations. As high school students, we're demonstrating that influence is not limited by age and that we can all work together to create something worthwhile.
Serve Locally
We think that real change starts in our local communities. We can make a noticeable difference by concentrating on the needs of our town, whether it's by offering free programs to young children, helping seniors rake their yard, or just being there when assistance is required. Local service creates stronger, more cohesive communities.
Uplift Our Neighbors
Everyone deserves to feel seen and supported. Our programs are designed to reach people of all ages in the community, from children seeking a sense of belonging to seniors in need of assistance. We think that even small acts of kindness can have a positive impact on a community as a whole.
Build Through Teamwork
We work as a team on every project. Teamwork is important, both within our team and with the larger community. We are creating a culture of mutual respect when we listen to one another and build on each other's strengths.
Lead by Example
As high school students, we are taking the lead now rather than later. We take responsibility for our work, hold ourselves to a high standard, and establish expectations for what young people can achieve when they take the initiative. We want to encourage our peers to follow suit by being visible and involved leaders.
Connect Across Generations
Bridging age differences can lead to some of the most impactful moments, such as a younger child collaborating with an adolescent mentor. Because they serve as a reminder that everyone has something to contribute and learn from, we cherish these relationships across generations.
Empower Through Action
We bring about change, not just talk about it. We organize logistics, arrive early, and work hard. Every volunteer builds confidence and gains experience in each event. The best way to influence a community is to take action.
